@myfingertips® has reviewed its privacy policy to protect the rights to privacy of our entire audience. We respect the right to privacy and the protection of your information.
This is aligned with the requirements of the Protection of Personal Information Act of 2013 alongside the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 as amended by the South African government from time to time.
When registering to establish a relationship with myfingertips you are required to provide personal, professional and potentially identifiable information. The personal information required should be provided directly by you and in order for us to lawfully process, given its engagement and agreement with you, its clients and suppliers and therefore potential third-party providers like courier companies, domain registrars, Microsoft and Sage.
We process and administer information to better understand our client and industry profiles and may for marketing and analysis retain emails and other information sent to us for our internal administrative purposes in accordance with PAIA.
The information is processed and stored for the purposes and intentions of myfingertips operations and is not disclosed outside of standard operational and management requirements for purposes communicated within our terms and conditions / service agreements.
Our database will contain your information that you provide on registration for KYC, FICA, news, and other administrative purposes like billing.
We may use your information to inform you of updates, marketing, events, prices and any important security notices that may be of interest to you. You may choose not to receive these communications at any time by unsubscribing from the applicable contact list or contacting us with a request for complete data deletion.
No public domains: as an extended privacy service to our clients who work with us through third parties like event companies, we do not retain data on systems after the events have completed. RSVP systems for private events are prevented from displaying on search engines.
Information collected via our online forms is secure with SSL, MFA and other strict security standards. We store information securely and privately on managed, secure systems with logged, assigned administrative access to prevent data leaks.
We have no control over the security and measures in place on your own devices and therefore can take no responsibility for any information potentially intercepted prior to submission to us. We expect that your devices are secured with the same respect towards the security of your information.
@myfingertips® makes a sincere effort to avoid allowing third party access to data. Data provided to third parties is limited to only what they require to complete functional processes. For example, security at event access control may receive your name and license plate but will not be furnished with ID numbers or address information, and the opposite would apply to logistics companies. We ensure privacy agreements with these third parties.
Individuals can opt-out of emails or update their email preferences by following links at the footer of all emails.
